US: Buddhist Monks Reach North Carolina During 2,300-Mile Peace Walk to Washington

A group of Buddhist monks and their dog, Aloka, reached North Carolina on Wednesday, January 14, where supporters welcomed them as they continue a 2,300-mile journey from Texas to Washington, D.C. The 'Walk for Peace' began in October and aims to deliver a message of unity and kindness to the White House upon their expected arrival next month.
